The portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias published an article on a study from the Edimburg University published in the Journal of Cleaner Production that concludes that more than one third of the fruits and vegetables produced in Europe is wasted. The project Fruta Feia is mentioned as a good example in the fight against food waste.
