FRUTA FEIA TURNS 5 YEARS OLD!
In the past 18th of November we completed half decade!
It’s a huge emotion to review the big fight that were these past 5 years, since the beginning of an alternative idea to the consolidated project we are today, with more than 5000 consumers, 180 farmers and 11 employees.
Thank you very much to all of you that boarded with us in this beautiful journey that is Fruta Feia!

Fruta Feia was ivited to present its work in the Azores Tek conference within the field of Circular Economy.
The Azores Tek is an event dedicated to tecnologie, criativity, inovation and entrepreneurship.
This year main subject was "Inovation frotiers" within diferent fields, namely Circular Economy, Inovation best pratices, and Criativity and Cultural Industries.

We were at Budapest: LIFE food waste platform meeting!
On October 8 and 9, we were at the LIFE food waste platform meeting in Budapest to present our project FLAW4LIFE!
Thank you to the Hungarian team Wasteless for joining so many projects that fight food waste: it's been wonderful to share the experiences and the know-how.
The European Commission was present and - of course! - we got them brainstorming on policies to prevent the discrimination of our ugly fruits and vegetables!
You can see here the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis' speech, where our project is mentioned.
