Our crowdfunding campaign is still active
Our facebook page has more than 7800K’s. This suggest that there are many beautiful people who identify themselves with our proposition of consumption, who want to get the project going and don’t want to see any more fruits and vegetables ending up in the garbage for mere aesthetic reasons. Behind facebook, in reality, the human and financial resources are scarce and it’s proven to be an olympic task to make the future revenue of the sales of our products cover the initial costs of the cooperative. Fruta Feia aims at changing the great paradigm that the quality is measured by the appearance. It is an ambitious project, and also a collective one. It is a consumer cooperative to all of us. Take a look at our crowdfunding campaign and turn our “likes” into a contribution to get Fruta Feia on tracks.

Launching of the registration forms for the Fruta Feia Co-Op
It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the launching of Fruta Feia on November 18!
Whoever wants to join the co-op as a consumer shall have to fill the registration form here available and send it to our e-mail address frutafeia@gmail.com.
Carefully read the operating rules, detailed in the registration form, to understand how the cooperative is going to work and what are the commitments of the associated consumers. The signature on the registration form and payment of the annual fee will be done in presence on November 18, when picking up your very first box. Due to logistic reasons, the registrations might be initially limited, and accepted in order of arrival.
The increasing number of people who identify themselves with our proposition has been our greatest motivation and what makes us believe that Fruta Feia might be, in fact, a collective project able to change consumption patterns and revert the illogical food waste. Thank you to everyone and, after all...who eats ugly fruit?

Crowdfunding for Fruta Feia
Today we launched our crowdfunding campaign (collaborative funding) in an attempt to, in a simple and transparent way, raise the funds needed and still missing to our project. The funds that may be raised are destined to support the costs to start and grow the Fruta Feia Co-Op, namely:
- To purchase a transportation van to carry the products from the farmers to the delivery point of the Co-Op;
- To develop our webpage; and
- To hire an employee
We hereby thank everyone who share our beliefs and our goal, and is able to support us.
